Sadie Mae Stuart
Austin based artist, living in a world of her own
Sadie Mae Stuart is a self taught oil painter NEWLY based in Austin, Texas. Her painting style has been described as “impressionistic realism” and “photo realistic”. Specializing in portrait and figure painting, Sadie has discovered a way to bring facial expressions and skin tones to life on the canvas. Her painting of Cincinnati Bengal Joe Burrow received strong praise and was featured on several news channels in the area. Instead of selling the piece, Sadie raffled the painting off and raised close to $3,000 for Burrows Hunger Relief Fund. While faces and bodies are her perfered subjects, Stuart has also ventured into painting street scapes, landscapes, and still life’s. One of her street scapes, titled “The Comedy Cellar”, is on display at the We Might Be Drunk Podcast studio in New York City— a podcast hosted by well-known comedians Sam Morril and Mark Normand. Numerous other works by Sadie Mae Stuart have made a big splash online. Prints of all of those paintings can be found on her Etsy shop, linked below. She accepts commissions through her “commission request” page, linked below and in the menu in the top left. She is also available to live paint at events such as weddings, concerts, receptions, sporting events, etc. You can hire her to live paint in the “Live Painting” tab in the menu!
